About Us

Friendly Furry Friends Pet Services began in 2014 when Allie introduced herself to a neighbor and offered to help with her dogs. Within a few months, Allie found herself walking and pet sitting more than just a few dogs! This was the start of an exciting and rewarding new career opportunity for her!

Friendly Furry Pet Services is now registered as an LLC.

Allie has always been passionate about animals of all kinds and she was thrilled at being trusted with their care and well-being.

She now has considerable experience with dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. Her Pet CPR and First Aid training means she is well qualified to ensure that every pet that she is responsible for stays safe and healthy, and of course, happy. Allie is also licensed and bonded.

Families love their pets and they can be reassured to know that all the pets that Allie cares for have a special place in her heart. She loves them too.

Our Services

 

  • Areas we service: Fairfax County, Herndon, Oakton and Reston, Va.
  • Our hours are:
    Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.,
    Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    We are available during holidays, please request ahead of time.

For your dogs:

  • Daily visits - to walk and feed your pet, play, clean litter etc.
  • Dog Walks - time and duration as requested
  • Pet Sits - day and overnight
  • Pop-Ins - to check that all is in order.

For all other pets

(cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds and ferrets)

  • Daily Visits to fuss and feed your pet and to clean litter-trays etc.
  • Pop-Ins - a quick check to see that all is in order.

Join Our Team

Pet Sitter

Our furry friends love spending quality time with us day & night!

Requirements:

  • Required to have at least one-year experience pet sitting daily and overnight in homes of clients (two + years preferred)
  • Has a flexible daily schedule (able to work on some public holidays)
  • Adheres to the daily walk and feeding schedule (every pet's schedule is different)
  • Comfortable staying overnight in homes of clients
  • Takes in the mail daily unless directed otherwise
  • Has reliable personal transportation
  • Has reliable cell phone with unlimited texting & calling (also able to check e-mails daily)
  • Needs to contact the client(s) daily with photos and notes about their pet
  • Has reflective wear or a flashlight for walks at night
  • Has extra dog bags on hand
  • Needs to agree on a background check
  • Needs to have a certification in Pet CPR & First Aid (updated yearly)
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs or more
  • Is comfortable around all sizes & breeds of dogs (we do meet & greets)
